Awreliya is the Melbourne-based doomsoul project led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aurelia Fiorentino. Rooted in jazz chords and gospel harmonies, and colliding with metal vocals and distorted guitars, she builds a sonic realm that feels like alchemy unthreading wounds and unfolding sanctuary. Known for her primal belting, Awreliya moves between banshee screams, haunting ambient textures and moments of fragile intimacy. With the heaviness of sludge and the lift of neosoul and jazz, her music shifts from meditation to exorcism and back again.

After cutting her teeth on Sydney’s vibrant scene and building the project in Melbourne, she took Awreliya through Lithuania, Austria, London and Margate in 2025, performing across punk, ad experimetal spaces. Her debut double-sided album was released in January 2025, with lead single Grace (June 26, 2024) garnering radio airplay.
