Awreliya is the Melbourne based doomsoul project led by songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist Aurelia Fiorentino. Marrying gospel harmonies and metal vocals , she uses her sonic realm as alchemy to unthread wounds and unfold sanctuary. Known for her primal belting Awreliya weaves banshee screams over distorted guitars and haunting ambient textures. With the heaviness of sludge and the heavenly harmony of neosoul and jazz, her music feels more like a spell, going from meditation to excorcism and back again. Front woman Aurelia cut her teeth on Sydney’s vibrant scene, leading bands with percussionist Yiss Mill and bassist/producer Nic Malouf, and touring Europe’s underground venues. She’s already marked key milestones: her debut double sided album was released January 2025 and lead single Grace dropped June 26, 2024 both garnering radio airplay.
